We will examine methods to determine which skills are needed to complete the tasks you have ahead of you. his will then build into a view of how best to ensure these skills are available as needed - should you hire and develop an internal skill base or should you use external agencies or temporary labor.

CAPABILITY

We will build on the skills you have identified and start to build development plans for your team.

One of the approaches we will use is the Moscow model;

• Must have - what are the bare minimum skills you must have now to be successful

• Should have - what are the skills you should have to help move the team forward, not essential but would be highly beneficial

• Could have - These are the extra skills that can help differentiate your team

• Would like to have - what would lift your team to the next level, which skills would make them into something truly special.
